2012 was a whirlwind with seniors, in a VERY GOOD way. Seniors are some of our favorite clients to photograph, because we can be super creative and edgy and have fun in the process. Lucy & Morgan

Whenever another professional photographer chooses me to photograph them, I am beyond honored. The deal just gets sweetened when you have two people as cool as Lucy and Morgan, who, with the help of Lloyd’s Florist and Wedding Bells of Kentucky, put together a truly breathtaking wedding that even the rain couldn’t put a damper on. Set at the beautiful Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville, Lucy and Morgan’s friends and family showed the true meaning of southern hospitality for all the northerners hailing from New York and the like. Top off the evening with some delicious food from Mark’s Feed Store, and a rockin’ live band, and it is no surprise that this party lasted well into the night. I loved being a part of this celebration. Here are a few of the images, enjoy!

Our clients are always asking when we are going to do a mini-session day, so here it is! These sessions are the most kid-and parent-friendly sessions around because they are quick, creative, and FUN! The waterfront is the perfect backdrop to catch your kiddos doing what they do best- being themselves, and being SUPER cute while doing it! These sessions are not just limited to children, feel free to make it a family, pet, anniversary, or modeling affair! Whatever the occasion may be, you can never have too many awesome photos of yourself or your loved ones, so come take advantage of this awesome opportunity. Okay, well I posted this about everywhere cause I love shooting weddings and I’m always fortunate to have the most awesome bride and grooms. The energy from this day was amazing as well as the venues (Cathedral of the Assumption & The Gillespie), flowers, and the New Orleans twist. It took me a while to weed the photos down to this many, but I think it sums up the day!

I shot this beautiful wedding in August of this truly amazing couple. We started at the Hyatt Downtown and moved to St. Bertrand Church for the ceremony by trolley, and then back to the Hyatt. I really can’t say enough about this couple to tell you how being in their presence make you feel, to me it was like the friends I grew up with down the block.
